Youth workers corner / Competence map
The Competence map is intended as a self-assessment measuring tool for young people before and after the implementation of their youth initiatives in order to monitor and evaluate their learning outcomes. Moreover, by comparing the before and after results, they will be able to assess which competencies were more developed then others and also plan accordingly for future steps on which competencies their focus should be in the future development. The Competence map can also serve youth workers from the same stand point, as a guideline or identification of which competencies to develop further.
The selected competencies are categorized into 5 main bundles. The description of the competences you can find below. The categorization is based on The Inner Dvelopment Goals Framework, which was also a session at the training for youth wrokers in Bolgaria, therefore we are also attaching a ppt presentation from that session as a further explanation.
