G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train partnership knows that you care about how information about you is used by us and this notice describes our privacy policy. Please read it carefully to understand what data we collect, how we process it, for what purposes, and what your rights are. This privacy policy is developed under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 
 
This privacy policy is mainly intended to address users, who decide to register on our platform in their personal capacity. For other users registered in their capacity as legal entities – organizations (as they are not data subjects in the meaning of GDPR), this privacy policy could be applied accordingly and if relevant.

What Information Do We Collect; How Do We Obtain It and Is it mandatory to provide it?
 
We receive information directly from you when you register on our platform. We collect and process only data that is strictly necessary to use the available services or that you have decided to share with us. These services are developed to respond to the purposes of our project and to help you enjoy and connect with our community network. 
 
When you decide to register with us, we collect your name (username), e-mail, country, password, IP address and log files. This will allow you to enjoy the full capacity of our services and to complete your public profile. Please note that we do not share on your public profile any of the information requested at the registration phase. It is at your own free will and consent to provide us with the following information – your field of work, organization, additional description about you.
 
How and For what purposes do we process your data?
We process your data in order to maintain your profile as part of our network community. This includes: 
– Managing your public profile;
– Keeping available the topics and comments you create on G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train forum; 
– Administering the platform;
– For statistical purposes, where the partnership needs to analyse and provide data to the Funding authority in accordance with its obligation under the Erasmus+ programme rules;
– Personal data might be processed in case of a legal dispute.
 
What is the legal basis for data processing on the platform?
When you register on our platform, you step in an agreement with the G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train partnership to use the services, provided on G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train online hub in accordance with the Terms of Use. Thus, the legal basis for processing your data when you register and/or use our services is the performance of the contract, respectively in order to take steps to enter into a contract (during the registration phase).
 
Upon your consent, we process your email address as part of our mailing list, when you have subscribed for receiving updates about the project. 
 
When we analyze the utilization of the platform in order to report to the Funding authority, we may process your data for the purposes of the legitimate interest of the G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train partnership and in particular, to fulfill its obligations under the Grant Agreement concluded with the German National Agency. 
 
In the event of a legal dispute, the personal data is also processed for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train partnership.
 
Who has access to your data? 
All Admins of the G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train online hub have access to your data. Only representatives of the G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train partnership are allowed to become admins of the platform.  
 
Your public profile contains minimum information by default (only your name/username). If you decide to complete your profile, your personal data will be visible to any visitor on the platform to the extent in which you have completed it. If you create a topic or post a comment on our forum or add a resource, any visitor of the platform will see you as the creator of the topic/comment. 
 
The German National Agency will be provided only with statistical data (anonymized data) on the users’ activity, which does not constitute personal data. 
 
There are no third parties involved in the data processing activities on the G.O.A.T | Get on the Action Train online hub. 
 
How long do we store your data?
We store your personal data as long as you have a registered account. Should the user’s account be deleted, all personal data is immediately erased/anonymised.
 
For statistical purposes related to the reporting before the Funding authority, we may keep data for 5 years after the project ends. 
 
What rights do you have as a data subject?
All users, who are data subjects in the meaning of GDPR, are entitled to the following rights:
– the right to withdraw their consent at any time – you can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time;
– the right to access his/her personal data processed on the platform;
– the right to correct and update his/her personal data processed on the platform;
– the right to erasure – this right could be exercised in cases where the personal data is no longer necessary, the personal data processing in unlawful, the data subject has withdrawn his/her consent;
– the right to request the restriction of the processing of his/her personal data – this right could be exercised where the user has contested the accuracy of the personal data process, where the processing is unlawful, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing by the user requires its storage for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
